Box Braids Rubberband Method

Will be trying this hairstyle next. This is the box braid rubberband method, this hairstyle is great for anyone who struggles with making their braids tight. Personally, I struggle with starting my braids, making them tight and neat. The box braid rubberband method will help with neatness and tightness. Hopefully, I will get around to trying this hairstyle within the next week or so and will try to update with some photos of how it turned out.  If you have already tried this hairstyle or planning on trying the hairstyle and would like to offer advice, please leave a comment.

Crochet Braids Using Marley Hair-My Next Hairstyle

Okay you guys, would like to give you all a quick update again since I been M.I.A (missing in action). Unfortunately I never got around to restarting my Monistat hair challenge. If you read my prior posts, then you know what I'm talking about but I'm a little excited about my next hair style. I know you guys probably already heard about the crochet braids trend that's going around.

For those who are not familiar with the trend, you probably seen it but didn't know exactly what you were looking at. A lot of the hairstyles I seen resemble sew ins or actual wigs but either way it looks good, when done right.

Crochet braids can be done using variety types of hair. You can use Marlely hair, kanekalon hair to name some of the popular types of hair that's mostly used. I recommend being creative, I remember a while back I did crochet braids using regular synthetic braiding hair, did not do video but should have. I used synthetic hair and used rod rollers to curl the hair. Of course I had to dip the hair once rolled with rod rollers into hot water. The hairstyle turned out good, I might have a picture some where. If find a picture of the hairstyle I will post it.

In the meantime I'm posting a video below of my next crochet hairstyle that I'm going to try. She uses Freetress Jamaican Twist Braid hair and Perm Rods to create the hairstyle below. Watch Video Below

Update on Monistat 7 Hair Challenge

Sorry everyone for not posting to my blog in a while but I have been real busy lately with packing and moving. Now, let me just update you all on my progress with monistat 7 hair challenge.

First of all let me say that this stuff really grows your hair but unfortunately, I was only able to actually use it on my hair but for about 3 weeks and I did notice more growth than usual in that amount of time. I have been really busy lately and was not able to keep to my monistat 7 regimen but I will restart the challenge and keep you all posted. So please follow my blog to keep up with my progress.

One Week Since I Started Monistat 7 (Miconazole Nitrate_ Challenge

So far it's been a week since I started my MN challenge and so far so good. As mention in one of my prior videos, I will be making another video in about 2 weeks showing results.


I know 2-3 weeks is not enough time for a lot to take place but it's enough time to let me know something, I should be able to see some type of results even if very small.


Also I will be posting a video very soon showing my monistat 7 hair mixture as you all probably know by now most people dilute the monistat 7, it's usually not applied directly to scalp without mixing. Although some people do but I don't.


Mixing the monistat 7 with your favorite oils is great to help avoid dryness also it's good to dilute to lessen headaches. For those who don't know monistat (miconazole nitrate) can cause headaches for some.


From my personal experience I notice my first mn mixture was diluted pretty good and I did not experience any headaches but the second mixture I made, I decided to include more MN the second time around.


With the second mixture I did experience headaches a time or two but I will discuss this more in the next week or two.

Today is the Day I Officially Start My MN Hair Growth Challenge (Monistat 7)

Hello ladies, I'm very excited today because today is the day that I'm starting my MN hair growth challenge. For those who don't know MN is just abbreviated for Monistat or Miconazole Nitrate; which ever name you prefer they are all the same.


Watch the video to see my hair length before I began my Monistat challenge. If you have been reading my blog, than you probably notice that I've wanted to start this challenge a while ago but just now getting around to it.


Personally I would love if some of you ladies reading this join me on my mn hairgrowth challenge. I would like to share results.


For those who are new to the whole monistat and hair growth phenomenal let me give a few tips.

1. Dilute the miconazole nitrate with your favorite oil, water or grease before using. Everyone has their own preference, personally I'm working on my own formula and if it works well for me I will share with you all.
2. Apply directly to your scalp, don't apply to hair just put it directly to hair. If some happens to get on your hair that should be okay.
3. Once applied to scalp gently massage the application into your scalp.

If you are ready to start your Monistat 7 challenge for hair growth but not willing to pay the price than watch the above video. I will show you an cheaper alternative to Monistat 7 since the price can be so costly.

Monistat 7 Hair Growth Challenge

I have heard so many great stories about Monistat 7 and hair growth at first I opposed to the idea but after further investigating I'm a bit intrigue. This stuff appears to work miracles so I'm willing to try it. 

When I first heard about ladies putting a yeast infection cream in their hair I thought it was a bit disgusting and I was completely against it but I found out this is not really new. Some ladies have been putting Monistat cream on their hair for the longest and I'm just catching on to the bandwagon...lol

I'm going to do a Monistat challenge! I'm going to track my growth for 3 months and see how well this cream will work for my hair. Will be posting videos and pictures tracking my progress. So please bookmark this site and subscribe.

Hello ladies, I don't think I mention in any of my past posts that I'm a big joker. Sometimes I crack a few jokes, hopefully I don't offend anyone. If I do, I'm now personally apologizing in advance. Okay I made this video because I wanted to share some information with you all. 


A few years ago my hair really started to thin badly to I convinced myself that maybe my hair is just naturally thin. Well come to find out my hair is not naturally thin. In actuality it was really just damaged, damaged to the point where you could see through my hair.

This is a quick hairstyle I created using a small flat iron. This flat iron was not fancy at all and really cheap, I actually paid $9.99 for it from my local beauty store. If you have not heard the chi silk flat iron is the best to use for african american hair. If you can afford it, I do recommend it but unfortunately I'm not in a place where I can afford it right now because they are expensive.
